About the Role:

The role being advertised is a sub-contracted partnership model, offering individuals the chance to work independently, be their own boss and managing their own schedule.

This position is well-suited for individuals who value independence, flexibility, and the chance to make a difference. With the potential for generous ongoing commission, this role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to earn a high income while still having control over their own schedule and work.

About You:

You are highly motivated and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities, you feel restless with the stagnant and conventional methods you have been working with! You also have:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in providing NDIS Support Coordination Services or similar responsibilities.
  • Skills in effectively communicating and collaborating with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to provide tailored support and advocacy.
  • Proficient in guiding participants through the process of registering with the NDIS.
  • Deep understanding of various disabilities and the challenges they present.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise, professional, and up-to-date records and reports.
  • Skilled in developing individualized plans that promote independence, inclusion, and well-being.
  • In-depth knowledge of the NDIA and its significance to individuals with disabilities and their support systems.
  • Committed to continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and resources of the NDIS systems and practices.
  • Proven expertise in facilitating cross-functional planning and building collaborative relationships with service providers.
  • Experience working with NDIA personnel and LACs.
  • Prepared for and able to attend plan reviews with participants, families, or representatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  2. Must have NDIS Workers Screening Check, National Police Check, and valid Australian driver’s license.
  3. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to adapt to different situations.
  4. Background in fields such as community services, mental health, and disability is preferred, but not essential.
